The one that I would love to shoot is a Rimfire Tactical Precision Match.
On these matches shooters engage targets out to 200 yds. That 's a really challenging distance for the good ol' .22LR.

I've been reading about these and they look like a blast...
I've got the targets printed out and am going to give them a go. Need some new glass for my 10/22 first.
rimfire silhouette is also a great time. There are matches held pretty much every Sunday around the northern part of the state. Check http://co-silhouette.blogspot.com/ for the schedule. I'm hoping to start shooting them regularly.
You know I like my coffee sweet in the morning
and I'm crazy about my tea at night
Are these 100 yard silhouette matches usually done inside?
"There are no finger prints under water."
No, these usually take place at outdoor ranges.
There are only two indoor ranges in the area that have indoor rifle ranges out to 100 yards. One of them is Green Mountain range in Lakewood and the other one is Trigger Time in Longmont.
To the best of my knowledge, Green Mountain does not sponsor any matches at their range and Trigger Time tried having a 100 yd rimfire match but shooters didn't show enough interest to keep them going.
I just got off the phone with one of my business partners and we are bouncing around the idea of starting a rimfire event at our outdoor range in Brighton. As with any new event, the two main challenges is finding the spot to squeeze them in alongside all the other events that we host and also finding enough shooters that want to participate to make these events worthwhile.
