    Default Police:No charges filed against man in shooting death

    http://www.punxsutawneyspirit.com/content/view/210600/ Friday,11,Dec 2009 SUMMERVILLE-Punxsutawney -based Pennsylvania State Police reported Thursday that District Attorney Jeffrey Burkett will not file charges against a man who shot a property owner after first being shot following a confrontation about hunting.Frank N.Shaffer,63,Red Lion,York County,was shot and killed Nov.24,but police said a lengthy investigation and processing of evidence revealed that it was Shaffer who fired the first shot "with his AK-47",and the person he shot -Paul H. Plyer,23,Summerville-was justified in returning fire.

    After reading the article, it looks like a good shoot. The "victim" shot the "suspect" twice before he was fatally shot. All dealt with the "victim" telling the "suspect" and a couple others to get off his expansive property where they were hunting bear and challenged them again as they were leaving the property. Apparently, they weren't moving fast enough getting off his property to the "victim's" liking.

    Just my $.02.

    Property owner should've practiced more if he's going to fire an AK at someone and can't kill them.
