    Thank goodness for Big Oil!
Big Oil heats my home and powers my car. 80% of what I own is probably manufactured from petrol. The Big Oil college fund put my kid through college. Big Oil employs hundreds of thousands of people!

    Thanks Big Oil!

Uh, I don't get it. Please excuse my ignorance but is the OP being facetious or serious? I know I post pointless shhh all the time . . . . nevertheless I'm failing to see the point in this one.

It's been a productive morning for me:

    1. Visited Sarah Palin's website and memorized each "new" word
    2. Shouted racial epitaphs at passer-by's to let them know I was a true republican
    3. Polished all my guns (JUST the ACTUAL guns mind you)
    4. Got onto a big oil forum and had a meaningful chat with some executives of Haliburton and then lit a candle for Dick Cheney's health
    5. Spat at a gay person
    6. Brushed up on my old testament so as to be able to quote chapter and verse to the persons of color included in step #2
    7. Prayed that Kelsey Grammer would continue to find work

You know, just normal republican stuff.
"...quemadmodum gladius neminem occidit, occidentis telum est." [...a sword never kills anybody; it's a tool in the killer's hand.] -- (Lucius Annaeus) Seneca "the Younger" (ca. 4 BC-65 AD)

“I regret that I have but one life to lose for my country.” ~ Nathan Hale (final words before being hanged by the British, September 22, 1776.)

I'm a bad GOP'er because I watched Jon Stewart last night and was shocked to learn that Fox News selectively edits video to further their narrative.

Of course, I'm a bad Democrat because I also thought the digs at Obama, Democrats and MSNBC being facetious and ineffective were hilarious.

Starting at 5:30 you may never trust what you hear from Hannity again. It goes to show if you're watching MSNBC or Fox, you're not watching news, you're watching your own beliefs echoed back along partisan lines. It's as close to watching the truth as getting your news from Futurama.

Why is it that of all the politicians in office, I can count on one hand the number I know of that I believe are in it for the right reasons (out of all parties)
