If I'm going to be that close to the treetops, I want to be in the front left seat. Come to think of it, some of my friends were scooting that low coming back from El Paso and I thought, no way I want to be that low in this wind, I'm going high for additional terrain clearance in case of a down draft.........CAT leeward of the peaks near Santa Fe. Trophy wife decided that was it for her flying career. It emptied my pockets, the aircraft pockets, and has provided exciting stories for years since.
Fun day last week. A nice break from reality.

recent trip, 737-800 wing..
Sometimes people trip and fall down stairs.
Sometimes assholes push people down stairs.
That doesn't mean "stairs are bad" nor does it make someone who pushes someone down the stairs any less of an asshole.
This was in a group of photos of old aircraft in a scrapbook I picked up. Lots of wrecked civilian planes and some oddities.
This is one of the few that are color, I'll post a few more if anyone wants to see them.
