There was a news blurb years ago showing people at one of the major airports, LA I think, that had a spot for photographing flights in silhouette by the full moon.
Some of their gear was in the thousands of dollars range.

Unfortunately no. Was forced to sit over the wing. I asked the flight attendant if I could move around and sit in every seat on the plane and she said no. She thought I was rather weird for wanting to do such a thing.

Yes, flight was really turbulent.
What was more funny was how awkward the in flight safety demonstrations were.

If anyone was around the front range last Wednesday afternoon and saw a couple C-130s flying around, it was us doing fly-bys for a bunch of hospitals. I dont normally slum around in MAFFS 5, but sometimes you have to.
From the ground you might have seen this.
From the air, we saw this.
