No airplane pics but a bit of interesting U.S. aeronautical history.

Great, now those arrows will be hunted down by assholes that want to spray-paint graffiti and bullshit on them.....

I wish I'd known about those arrows when I still had my plane. That would have been an interesting day's flight.

If either of us live long enough for me to finish installing all the new radios in my Glasair, I'd be happy to go for a ride with you! Too many other things keep getting in the way and the project gets pushed aside.

Some friends and I went up last Monday to take a look at the Aspens. We went from Brighton to Steamboat and then to Craig, Hayden, and Walden before heading home. This pic was taken by a friend's wife from their RV-6. I'm in the RV-3 and the polished plane is a 1948 Swift. (I know Alpha2 probably knows all this, but for anybody else who might be curious...).

The aspens were nice and the weather was fantastic.

This is as close as I can manage to get when it comes to taking a selfie with a pretty girl!

When did you get another -3? We knew a guy in Michigan that had a Swift. Tiny little cockpit, HUGE guy. Still can't figure out why, or how he pulled it off.

I’ve had the red three for just a bit over 4 years. Best plane I’ve ever owned.

I’ve ridden in that Swift. It’s similar in size to a Cessna 150.

Dick V always said the -3 was the best of the bunch. I remember the first -3 you owned was pretty nice, too.

Happy to see another couple RV folks on here!
