    I'm not saying you should not be prepared.....but if your running scared, they have accomplished their mission all ready. That's what terrorist try and do. They try to ruin your life style with fear.

    Was talking to some highschoolers yesterday.... they dind't know/comprehend what 9/11 was... What are our teachers teaching? (Don't answer that, I already know.)


    As far as being overly prepared for something to happen on 9/11... No, I wasn't. I went about my life as I do everyday. I will never forget, but I won't live in fear either.

    Well, terror (or fear) is the emotional response to a perceived threat. So it's not really possible to win a war on terror, unless we're prescribing Xanax or some other mind bending drugs to everyone.

    Framing it as a "Global War On Terror" is just as stupid as declaring a "War on Drugs." It's not possible to win a war against terror when it's something that any individual can commit with no forewarning.

    You can win a war against the Taliban, or against Al Queda, or any of the other dozens muslim extremist groups, but not against an emotional state.
