6.8 REM ammo/mag questions

Tottally unfamiliar with these. Do they use a standard AR mag? Also ammo, is it available, reloading components? Worth buying if I get a good deal.

Factory ammo hovers around the $1.00/round average making re-loading an attractive option.

AR Performance (http://www.ar15performance.com/) offers the most bang for the buck with their basic upper for $519.00.

AR-15 mags won't work. Factory 6.8 magazines by C-Products run about $12.00 each.
