I saw the Col. West video in the other thread, but missed this one- and saw it somewhere else... I wasn't trying to re-start that whole discussion, just interested if there is any credibility (one way or the other) to this...

I have not read the Qur'an, and was looking for input from those who have, or know where I can find anything to either reinforce this information or debunk it.

not interested in options about how "action-able" this is for modifying behavior- I think that was covered in the other thread.

for each and every ideology there will be variations of it as well as various degrees.

During my time in the middle-east I had several Muslim Friends. In Marrying a filipina I now have some Muslim Family.

but then again in going to Mindanao, Pappa makes sure "the Boys"(his Brothers and Sons) are armed and I am too... because there are some nutcases there that honestly believe that Mohamed came to the P.I. and brought Islam there before Christianity. They would love nothing more than to behead an American in the name of Islam.
