"Send in the Marines!" For many generations, successive U.S. presidents have given those orders, from early in our nation's history in places like Montezuma's palaces in Mexico to the Barbary pirates' shores of Tripoli, and more recently from the halls of Saddam Hussein in Iraq to the pirate-infested coast of Somalia.

Of late, the question occurs: Will Barack Obama be the first American president to say, "Send away the Marines" - as in permanently?

That is a not-unreasonable inference to draw from the myriad steps being taken by the Obama Defense Department at the moment - steps that could threaten the future viability of the Marine Corps. Consider the following examples: .........

I dont want to predict the outcome...but...I would think the Commandant would then Take over the World. First he would have the current occupants of the whitehouse deported and the Commandant would have the white house fumigated. Then painted Scarlet and Gold. From there he would administer Justice. Swiftly and one sided in US Citizens best interest. I am just speculating, but I think He would have 545 people Round up and Hung, for crimes against America. Then and only then we might have world peace.

He would probably go ahead and give one way tickets to all the America haters living here.

Even though I was Army, I'll fight for the USMC any day. I have a nephew that just went to USMC boot camp on Sept 7.

Listening to Glenn Beck yesterday on the radio, I heard a very interesting discussion on Obama by author Dinesh S'Souza and his upcoming book "The Roots of Obama's Rage". Fascinating theory that seems to explain a lot if not all of Obama's actions.
