    Default electric fencing

my knucklehead dog figured out that she can get out by climbing the field fence. makes me glad I fenced 3ish acres for her and the other critters.

so now she's getting an electric fence.

looks simple enough. big question right now is this:

is the polyrope good enough, or should I go with a regular wire?

The poly rope is good, it's much more visible- the only time I've had issues were weeds that reach them, they'd damage the poly rope if left to rub over time (with the electric supply arcing over time)

quickly they'll be trained that poly rope = stay away

you'll find you can keep them off of anything by putting some of that rope on it, even if it's not wired
