    Talking with a guy the other day and he was building a retro AR. I told him I had one. "What kit did you use? what lower?" he asked. No kit, I said, but they don't get any more retro...

    Generally I am a firm believer in most of the updates made to the original, but that is one fine looking rifle.

    I agree. Come range days, it stays home. Compared to my modern ARs, its like comparing a 1965 Mustang to a New GT500. Ya, it's cool to look at, but it's not the one you want to take to the track on race day.
