    Default Infrared Game Cameras

    Skool me on IR game cameras.

    Never used them but need some simple surveillance for the driveway.

    What I'm looking for;
    • IR flash
    • Quiet operation
    • Small and inconspicuous
    • Under 5mp
    • 30-40ft range
    • Under $100

    These look interesting.

    Thanks

    Unfortunately, they aren't all that small. About 6x8 give or take. But, you might be able to conceal it. If I may, what are you planning on using it for; critters at night, or two legged critters? If you think you may have a crime problem, you might want to look into a wireless camera that records to your computer.

    Let's just say I have been getting a lot of flats lately.

    I thought about wireless video cameras. That might be an option down the road.

    A game cam might be a little more versatile. The trees around the drive would conceal a 6x8 box fairly easy.

    Future uses would be for critters of the night.

    Default Logitech Wilife

    I bought a Logitech Wilife system. $300. It transmits the video from an outdoor camera to my computer via the home wiring system. Worked good for a year...then the camera died. Lesson learned, DON"T buy the Logitech Wilife video Security Systerm. Seems lots of others had the same problem according to the reviews on the internet...the outdoors camera dies after about a year.
