Whats favorite restaurants?

I first need to start off by telling you that I'm a Kansas City (Missouri) boy who grew up with great BBQ and was practically teethed with a rib bone. . . .

With all that said, I've searched high & low for good BBQ in Colorado and have been disappointed more often than not.

I'm from the east coast (Massachusetts) and feel that way about GOOD Italian food. Now we've lived here just short of 2 months, but haven't had good Italian food (or good seafood) since we moved. . . And the pizza, what is this crap in Colorado that they call pizza?

We eat out a few times a week, and so far the "best" food we've had here has been at The Kitchen (Pearl St) and Alba (Canyon Blvd) both in Boulder

There's a place up towards Evergreen (in Genesse) called Guido's, and the pizza there is pretty damn good. At least it used to be. The former owner was from New York, so he only made pizza the right way (which is new york style IMO)

Is Famous Pizza still around? they used to have decent pizza, but that was a long time ago. Can't eat that stuff too often anymore...

Every weekend, without fail, my girl and I hit Hacienda Colorado - their barbacoa burrito is fantastic. At least once a month we go to some place we have never been before, we've done it for years and been able to experience a number of places in town.

Bono's BBQ at I-25 and Dry Creek, some damn good barbecue. They smoke all their meat on site, and the sauce is awesome.
