    Default Hello

Hello everyone, new to the site! Looks to be a good spot where I can find some local places to shoot, learn to shoot better, and teach the wife to shoot too! Many people from colorado springs on here?

Just moved into the springs about a year ago after spending about 5 years on the east coast. My family really missed Colorado and jumped at the opportunity to get back! Ended up seeing a good deal on an overstock of ar receivers and grabbed WAY more than I needed to. Finally built up my first one about a month ago and love it! Don't have time to do much in terms of hobbies, but I enjoy video games, football, hockey and brewing beer. Also in the midst of starting a tactical supply company so that takes up most of my remaining time.

    Welcome Shooter.

What part of the East Coast were you living in? I lived around Boston for a bit.

We've got quite a few members here on the site but are always happy to get more.

It's great to hear that you're looking to get your wife into shooting too - it's a great hobby that really dows need more lady-folk involved in it (especially since they are naturally better shooters than men).

Can't wait to visit your tacical supply place (especially if you've got good deals on those AR parts overstocks!).

Mostly just bounced around Florida and Georgia, never made it up to the New England area.

Yeah, she's never really been exposed to firearms as a whole, but she's very interested. I got a little .22 auto for her to start with and am looking into picking up a .22 conversion kit and/or .22 rifle.

Hopefully, I'll get the store up and functional soon, still waiting on some distributor applications to get approved! More paperwork then I originally thought!
