Hello all, I just moved up here from Phoenix, Az. I shoot all types of handguns, shotguns and rifles and look forward to doing some hunting up here.

What part of the state is "up here" for you?

"Up here" for me is the Denver area. I'm still in the process of moving and have only been able to shoot at Aurora Gun Club. I am looking to join a gun club soon and am looking for one's near south Denver. I hunt big game, pheasants, and am looking forward to my first goose hunt this year. I like to shoot long range rifles, big bore rifles and handguns and just about anything else.
Other hobbies are dirtbike riding, quad riding, camping, fishing, reloading, and working with my dogs.
As for the laws, yes, I did appreciate their laws. I thought the government service in Az. was a bit inefficient until I came up here and needed to find info out from the Colorado State Gov. So far I'm less than impressed. Worst thing is I haven't even dealt with the DMV yet.
Oh well, in all fairness, this has been a great state so far, it's amazing how much nicer and layed back people are here compared to people in Az. I'm still probably a little too wound up for this place. So far I am really enjoying living in Co and I can't wait to get up in the mountains.
Welcome!
