Sig 232 question?

I just bought this p232 used and when I take it down the slide catch lever is real lose to come out. It pops right out of the female end it sits into. I asked a gunsmith today and he said it was G2G and not to worrie. Just want a second or third opinion because it seems odd to me that it would be that lose. Asked my buddy who is a sig armorer via text and he said it shouldn't be like that. Can anyone confirm if it is ok or not? Thanks a lot.

It is not engaging the slide stop spring correctly I believe.
