Oh gosh, this is BEAUTIFUL. Ricky Gervais just KILLED it at the Golden Globe Awards. Making tons of jokes at the expense of Hollywood, and he clearly DGAF. It's a thing of beauty!
As just an excerpt: "If you do win an award tonight, don't use it as a platform to make a political speech. You're in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thumberg!"

I heard him ripping Hollywood while I was looking for something else to watch, so I went back to the monologue. Then changed it immediately thereafter since I knew it was going to be political drivel like every other Hollywood awards show.
