    Colby Buzzell was in his platoon on his first deployment. Here's an excerpt from his book that was done for the Operation Homecoming.

    You may remember the pictures from the below link when they appeared in Time in 2004. Buzzell relates this incident in his book and the names of those involved -- including my son who was driving this vehicle.

    I, too, would ask that you thank your son for his service for me.

    The tat is just the thing to help him mentally deal with all that he has been through; sorta like the shoebox with the lid that Colby Buzzell speaks about, only more visible.
