Adams county sheriff

Anyone know what Mark Nicastle's stance is of the 2nd and on open and concealed carry?
His website does not say anything.

Adams County Sheriff – No endorsement
As the top uniformed law enforcement officer in the county, the sheriff is arguably the one county position that everyday citizens are most familiar with. With the responsibility of protecting county citizens, the job is not an easy one and one that warrants careful consideration by voters.
Incumbent Doug Darr has performed well as Adams County Sheriff. By all rights however, he should not even be eligible for a third term. It is only because of a deceptive ballot issue that has evaded Colorado voters’ will to impose term limits that Darr can seek office again. For this reason, I cannot in good conscience endorse him. Had the ballot issue been properly worded or better yet, had the sheriff and other “professional” county offices been on a separate issue from the politicians, I may have had a change of heart.
On the other side there is Mark Nicastle who appears to have the professional background to lead the sheriff’s office. However, he switched political parties only so that he could run in the election – not because of any real political philosophical differences with Democrats. This type of purely political move is not something I can support and as a result I will not support Nicastle’s election.
