    If you can own a gun you can own a SBR in Colorado. Or any other NFA stuff. The current processing time on the paperwork is anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months or longer.

    There may be some locations where you have to incorporate or form a trust to do it though.

    Actually you would file a form 1 because you are "making" the firearm. still a 200$ stamp, and there are marking requirments. Better to buy an SBR gun from a dealer, esp. if this is your first time down the NFA road.

    I don't know...I'd heard that the paperwork turnaround time is 5-6 weeks now, thinking about how cool it would be to have a 9mm AR SBR

    THEY ARE COOL, is it worth having all the registration and be on the govt't radar your gun rights go south.
