    Default Day Off Projects

Had the day off and I had some oak laying around, the weather was nice and I decided to get creative.
    Anyone else do wood work?
I also made one that fits the XD 40 as well as the Glock 27.
Some felt pads underneath and they are done.
Gonna make one for my Draco later this week.

The wife does not see the point.

Nice! I don't claim to be a woodworker, but I do make the occasional wood handle for a knife. Although given my current family situation I've been mostly making tables and baby gates recently

Yup damn nice.. if you get interested in selling them drop me a line!

We here are looking at a feature add on to our site to help out folks who don't want to start a business but still have quality wears to sell. That reminds me... where the hell did I put Splefys number?

I would like to do more but the issue is fitting the mag well for most handguns etc. Sand and fit, sand and fit. Mainly the tapering and magazine angles are the most time consuming. Once I have that I can knock out a bunch of them.
I am looking to get a 1911 mag so I could replicate it because I know how popular the are.
I am limited to XD's, a Glock, Sten, and AK for right now.

There isn't enough trees in Colorado for me to build stuff out of wood. Steel, no problem. Nice work!

I'm sure if you ask around, someone will loan you a 1911 mag to work with. I would, but I don't own a 1911. I know, I know....

My day off projects usually consist of cleaning house, keeping the car running, etc. Man, it's been a while since I bought the lady flowers or had a date... might have to make a stop tonight... and buy a lotto ticket, lol.

I'm right there with ya Bear, except I've only worked like maybe 8hrs in the last two weeks and I can only clean the house so many times
