I think this is total BS but a story from a friend that works over in the Lockheed building, weapons design: He said he had a friend in the SS (which knowing his friends, history, etc it totally believable) and that this SS guy (do they even have SS in the Springs?) once was at a stop light and a guy tried to jack his car. The SS guy pulled an UZI on the kid and the kid ran away.
Fun story, but I think it's BS.
Secret Service or Nazi SS?
I'd think that the Secret Service would use MP5's though.

10th SF group is out of Ft Carson. Don't think any of them would carry an UZI with them, but who knows?

This story supposedly took place about 5 years ago here in the Springs. (I've only been here almost 1 1/2)
I know way back with Reagan and stuff they carried UZI's.. but nowadays, I'm not so sure.
No, it wasn't SF. He was specific that it was SS.
Grand scheme doesn't really matter. I just thought it was a "cool story bra" type thing of a nerdy dude impressin' me.
Seriously, when I left, I joined the Army and took the service exam. They found my psych results fit a certain profile. A certain "Moral flexibility" would be the best way to describe it... I was loaned out to a CIA- sponsored program. It's called "mechanical operations." We sort of found each other...
You can't go home, but at least you can shop there.
