    Default Avoid This Intersection!

SH 83 PARKER RD. @ SH88 ARAPAHOE RD.
I just thought I would save you from a TRAFFIC NIGHTMARE On Saturday 10/23/10 CDOT AND the CONTRACTORS are realigning Parker Rd. approximately 300 feet to the west, this is to facilitate the construction of the Parker Rd. Fly Over. There will be a temporary Traffic Signal at the realigned intersection that will be contractor maintained. ( Remember CDOT Projects are LOW BID. ) This shift and Traffic Signal is temporary, only for the duration of the project.
Please find and use an alternate route, due to the narrowing of the intersection and until the motoring public gets used to the changes, this intersection will become even more congested than it already is.

Hope this information helps your daily commute,

    SideShow Bob.

I second this, this intersection was a nightmare before during rush hour. Now it's like sitting in Purgatory with the construction thats going on. Unfortunately for me I have no other way to get to and from work without being taking waaaaay out of my way.

Oh Sweet Jeebus! I haven't been up that way lately, but it's always sucked around there. Thanks for the warning! A flyover, huh? That might not be a bad thing.

Fortunately i'll be off on Saturday, so i'll get to miss the initial cluster fu$%, however I take this route to Parker daily, so I foresee some headaches until completion. I got off work a couple hours early today, and ended up at the intersection right at 1500, and East bound Arapahoe traffic on the West side of Parker, was backed up as far as the eye could see, it was truly ridiculous.

    Wait a minute here. You're saying no Old Chicago pizza buffet for lunch . . . . . . . . . It can't be so.

Oh man, OC's has the best pizza crust too. Over the years I've gotten to where I don't even eat pizza crust any more because it's just to tough an dnasty. Old Chicago's crust's are the exception - dang their good.

(The rest of the pizza is amazing too.)

Guess I finally had something worthwhile to post.

There is zero chance that I'll be over there anyway, but this is a great post.
