It takes me a little out of my way but I think it is worth it for sure.
Now that you posted your secret route, Everybody and their mothers will be using that way. It'll be worse than Parker @ Arapahoe.

Welcome to my world! I pass that intersection two times a day to/from work. All the other alternate routes are jam packed also. A neighborhood put up signs saying "no through traffic", curious if they can actually ticket anyone. Its a public road, i can be looking at homes in the area.

Thinking about buying a season park pass to cut through cherry creek reservoir

If they want to ticket you, they'll have to catch you. And that means stopping. Which means you aren't passing through

Alright, went to work this morning around 7:50 i go through this intersection, they have started the change over but havent completed it yet. It wasnt to bad, i travel south on parker to west on arapahoe the turn lane is still there. So i was kinda pleased with the way it was goin. Now i leave work at 4:07 i know because i call my wife. Normally this is a 15 min drive max. Its smooth running till i get to jordan rd, then its packed like it is on a friday afternoon, after 45 min of sitting there i make it to the shopping center. Lucky for me there was a firetruck trying to get east bound and they let us roll through till the truck made it so my normal 15 min max trip took me over an hour. I think they will eventually have more lanes open (they only had 1 going east/west) but as of right now find a different route, ill update again later.

Has anyone been brave or masochistic enough to venture though here during the evening rush hour ?
How do you north bound to west bounders like exiting to the east before the detour to go west on Arapahoe ? This is the way it will be after the fly over is complete.
I had to go out there this morning due to the contractors not doing their job and fixing their screwup when they installed the temp. signals. You would not believe the number of drivers that do not know what a NO LEFT TURN sign means.
Be aware, the Prime Contractor is getting a full time UTC to monitor and ticket the north bound to west bound turn violators.
I'm just trying to save you the cost of a violation in a construction zone.

Going South bound on Parker road today, right around 1700, and much to my surprise, traffic was better than normal. I don't know if most are avoiding it (not an option for me) or what, but it was actually nice, didn't even have to stop at the intersection, just right on through. Knock on wood it will continue to be this way.

I noticed no back up as well, I am thinking maybe the temporary construction light that works better than the old light may have something to do with it.

I think you are probably right about that, it seemed to last significantly longer than the old light.
