anyone know a good place that does spray in bed liners cheap?
From my recent experience of getting my N-fab nerf bars sprayed, I would call Line-x in Boulder for a quote. They were the cheapest in the state of all Line-x dealers. I had a quote for $250 (Boulder) all the way up to $650 (south metro Line-x) for the steps to be done. I recommend getting the xtra added if you're looking to keep the sheen look intact. It adds some durability as well.
Working in the truck and trailer industry I can attest that all bed liners are not equal.
Meaning:
Most of the spray-in liners are almost the exact same product. But application is where the big difference is.
When I install goose neck hitches I have to drill through the bed liner to put a 4" hole in the center of the bed. When doing this you can tell how thick the product is applied. Most spay on liner places will tell you thickness ranging up to 1/4" thick. I have never seen a 1/4" thick application. In fact most are 1/8" thick of less. The thinner the coating the more fragile and less likely to get beat up or torn. Most spray-in liner places are looking to spray it as thin as possible to keep costs down.
Next is surface prep. You are supposed to sand the surface prior to application to prep the surface so it will stick.
Most "discount" spray-on liner places do NOT sand prior to application and spay a very thin coat of the product. My point is there is a reason for those widely ranging prices.
I say lets all remove the warning labels and let nature take its course.
I've called both Line-X and Rhino Linings corporate offices and both stated that all the business's that spray are franchised, and that they set a fair market value for their services and the individual franchise can basically deviate from that either up or down based on economic demographic (and other variables). So with that said it would be best (if you used either of these companies) to call multiple places, because they all could charge a different amount for the same services.

Sniper 7,
Call Kyle at Line-X of Boulder 303-915-7371; best product for the price. As Dept. Mgr. of a Water District I maintain a fleet of service vehicles, mostly with utility boxes, and they get used extremely hard. I tried Rhino many years ago and was very disappointed; peeled off in sheets and cut or teared easily when loading pumps, pipe, couplings etc. The Line-X product has withstood our abuse very well and Kyle is great to work with. If you can handle driving into the Republic of Boulder, Line-X is where I would go.
Couldn't say about the where; but I'll echo the comments about the Line-x. Great stuff, I like it better than the Rhino Lining. My Line-X has held up extremely well, and does a fine job of keeping those annoying small dents from occurring when you actually use your truck like a truck.
