Default Help me pick between my two rifles

Hey guys I recently ended up with two new black rifles, a Sig 556 Swat and a LMT CQB Piston Defender. My main question is concerning the longevity of each weapons gas system, which one is stronger and whatnot. I am quite new to the piston driven rifle scene so I wanted to enlist the help of those with more experiance.

From what I have found out, the LMT is one of the finer Piston Driven AR platforms available but how does it compare to the strength and reliability of the SIG?

Any info on either type would be helpful, as the LMT seems to be so limited in production that it has proven to be very difficult to find much info about it at all.

So guess my question is, which of these rifles would you pick and why?

    Thanks guys

Never handled or shot an LMT Platforrm. I have handled and shot a Sig 556. Was a nice rifle, but I didn't notice any difference in it from my Noveske or Bushy.

I did call BS on Sig's "To hell and back Reliability" when they came as a package with the Sig Red Dot Scope, or SigDot, or whatever that $20 optic was. Seemed to me like it was putting a Tasco on a Christianson Arms rifle.

What good is a rifle if it breaks a firing pin and you only have one source for parts? I liked the SIG, I got one when they first came out and it shot well. I did not like limited parts availability and how muzzle heavy it always seemed.

You sound stressed about this. I'll come by and get them and subject them to intense testing so you won't have to deal with it Bro.

WUUUU? Sig red dot is great IMO. Its parallax is upto par with other high end mini RDS.

The 556 I shot belonged to my Uncle. The rifle was fanstastic. But he had to send his Red Dot back on 3 occasions. Twice for it not turning on, and once for the dot being in the upper most left corner of the lens, regardless of how we tried to adjust it. Granted, Sig Customer Service was great, and they got him squared away with a working, brand new dot by the time it was all over with.
