It's possible. Before I picked my jeep up I used my GTO to get around one winter and like the Vette there it has a little something poopra owners don't know about - torque. Now taking it through the snow to Eisenhower would be nucking futs.

I can see that, that car was a tank I'm sure. Still no way in hell I'd travel into the mountains with a Vette or other rear wheel drive car with lots of HP and no weight.

A buddy of mine in high school had a 63 Impala 4 door with the 3 on the tree and straight 6.
We called it the "Black Bitch" and that car would go places a 4x4 would drop its ball bearings. I mean it was a fricking tank, we even crossed the Platte river down by 470 in it. It reminded me of the Lincoln in "Animal House". My sister had a 65 Bug that was impressive in the snow as well.

As far as bikes in the snow I used to see quite a few when I was out in a plow. Some hardcore dudes to be sure.
The ones that always crack me up are the wetbacks in their "Tejano" cruiser F150's. Those low profile wiiiide tires really work well in the snow eh? Just love watching them putt along at 5 mph and the ass end all over the place!
