    I stripped it and used some of the parts on another test rifle. It's not worth my time to deal with a return just to get the same thing back.

    Seems like a waste of a lower if it failed for a reason due to it's construction or design.

    It may have been a fluke but in almost 30 years with metal lowers this has never happened to me.

    Got a picture of where it caught the buffer tube? I want to make sure mine isn't like that.

    No, I already stripped it. It wasn't the buffer tubes fault. I would change the buffer. I think that was the problem. It was a piston gun which may have had something to do with it. I used the buffer tube in another rifle with no problem but I won't use the buffer. It seems kinda crappy.

    One of mine came with a Tapco buffer. Seemed kind of odd.
