    Default FBI Question

So my wifes friend at work today was very upset. Her son was due to graduate at Quantico this month. Apparently half the graduating class was called in and told they did not have the personality yada yada, and showed the door. Is this normal to give that many folks the boot weeks before graduation? It sounds like Uncle Sam did some budget cuts and didn't want to make payroll. Any thoughts from folks who might have knowledge of such things would be appreciated. I will pass on to the disheartened mother.

    Thanks guys

Maybe the ones dismissed were the ones that said the constitution was the law of the land.

Never heard of that before but I'm not that familiar with it.

Anything is possible! The FBI is extremely competitive.

The academy cadre constantly evaluate each cadet and they can be canned if there are issues that develop in the academy. I've never heard of a mass dismissal as mentioned though.

Man I Screwed up big-time by shitting on Special Agent [name] Desk and I got booted for it. My Parents are going to fucking shit a Goddamned BRICK! I know, I will just tell them I don't know why I was asked to leave... something about a personality profile er something and it was a whole bunch of us... YEAH! That's IT!

Seriously, I underwent a "Federal Agency" Application.
Personality profile and Psychological evaluations happened before the Physical did.

That doesn't sound right. They invested all that time and money to train agents that "their personalities just don't fit"? I went through over a year of testing, background investigations, and general red-tape before I GOT to a Federal Academy. They knew what they were getting before I stepped in the door.

    1) They had to cut based on budget (not likely).
    2) He got cut based on something else and this was an excuse.
    3) He was never there.

Just a few alternatives that came to mind. I don't know the people in this situation, and am looking at it from a 3rd party view with limited info. I could be wrong, but it doesn't sound right to me.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.
