I've gone through a lot of printers and have always liked HP. Epson's have always given me trouble. I have the HP Photosmart Premium all-in-one that has been great but I don't use it heavily.

I have an MP140 that I used in Kuwait, shipped to the states and still run the hell out of.

    Cartridges are everywhere
    Software is easy to use
Has a "night time" Function in software

I am just really happy with it.

Besides "Bert" if you expect me to support it... you might as well get a canon

The software seems a little clunky and slow, and time to print the first page can be a little long first thing in the morning, but actual print speed is very fast for an ink jet.
I went with a lexmark from Office something or other, after i asked them to sell me on one vs. another. They went to the HP first then a few others including Lexmark. My reply regarding the LM was, not convinced due to cartridge cost. he told me LM has the lowest priced cartridge replacement on the market. I looked at customer support, warranty etc and oddly enough the LM won out. I ended up with the LM PRO901, printer, copier, fax, wifi ready, insert flash drive to print directly to copier I'm happy.
