This is mostly Gen 1 stuff but reasonably priced. I've used some of it with moderate success. I would keep an eye out for any Gen 3 stuff for under $1500. Sometimes you can find it (AN/PVS-7B) at gun shows, ask Mr Google, etc...

What to buy depends on what you'll be using it for and your budget.

Gen 1 and Gen 2 stuff is FAR cheaper then Gen 3 or Gen 4.

I don't think I've ever seen a true Gen 3 set for under $2600 new and generally they are $3k+

Go talk to Vic at TNVC. Dude is polite, respectful, takes the time to explain things to you and really seems to know his @#%^. But re-read what Hoser wrote.... it's crazy expensive for teh Gen 3/4 stuff... But as I always say, "one day"
