    I came to the conclusion, that if I had access to a certain sports car of 1980's vintage for a couple of hours.

    I would head to a day in july of 1983, and catch My younger self before I went to the recruiters office..

    The advice I would give would be, Go combat arms, and get the the $5000 bonus they had at the time.

    As soon as you get it, invest in a little start-up company called Microsoft. And let the chips fall where they may..

    Ugh you got me started...

    Back around then was when my dad started kinda getting into investing/stocks...
    I was interested, he told me to pick a few to "shadow" - check the paper each weekend, log the prices/values.


    I sh!t you not, I picked GE, Motorola, Apple, and Micro$oft.

    If I'd put just $100 into each...

    Oh man, if I had a time machine.... There would be so many things I'd try to "fix"... but then knowing my luck and all the proposed theories on time continums, etc, I'd probably screw up the whole world.

    Back in 1993 my friend got married and his father in law gave them 100 shares of CSCO. I was like wtf do you want stock in a restaurant food supplier?

    Current value... $44.74.

    The only regret I have.... I didn't buy $10000 like my buddy in Singapore did. He made over 400k in short 8 months.

    Ford... 15x in the last few months...

    One stock I have been watching closely... Citi BANK...currently at $4.40.. pre recession was in the mid $50s.
