I like that HEST, and would consider that as an EDC. Does that spike on the handle ever poke you?

Can we get a couple links to some dealers that carry some of these knives? I know the Army Surplus near me has a bunch of knives, and the guy behind the counter has always seemed pretty knowledgeable/helpful to me, but some of their stuff is way over priced. For instance, they have the Lansky sharpening kit for sale at $49.99, and the link on here it was only $37.99.

Sadly, I don't know of anyplace local that has any kind of a selection of knives. These should get you started though.

Every once in a while Big-5 will have a sale on some of the CRKT knives for $19.99 coupled with one of their coupons I have bought a couple for $17 a piece.
Thank you very much.

I really like that Cold Steel Recon 1, however it is quite large for daily carry. Wonder if they make a smaller version (haven't looked yet).
I don't know if I want it anymore. Both you, and the guy that made that awesome survival video told me that it has problems retaining an edge.
Speaking of knives with blade issues...

Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.
I've also had good luck with http://www.knifeoutlet.com/ , I know it's not local, but they have good prices.
