Just stick with the cheapo knives and you won't care if you loose them.

Those cheap Chinese knives broke and nearly cut off all my fingers!

    Try one, you'll see.

I carry a Kershaw Blur everyday, drop point, half serrated. I keep it in my left pocket and practice using it that way. I figure since my handgun is on my right, if for some reason my right hand is tied up or otherwise unable to get my gun then at least I have another weapon available with my left hand. But that's all just in theory, my knife has never seen anything more scary than a taped up box.

Ever since I've been working in a warehouse, I've been wearing a knife on my belt every day. For the first day I tried using a cheap shit, Maxim Chinese knife, but since it was half serrated, it wouldn't open boxes well. Probably because it won't hold an edge and the smooth part would be defeated by tape. So lately I've just been carrying a cheapo boot knife on my belt. I managed to get a decent edge on it with one of those cheap, one-handed sharpeners.

Best bet on a knife in a warehouse is a box cutter with extra blades. Lowes and Home Depot carry some that are quick blade change. I always carry one clipped to my pocket when working. Cutting open boxes all day is extremely hard on knives due to glues and even clay in the composition. Got that info off Blade Forums.

Anyone here have the Kershaw Blur S30V? I'm wanting to buy this one but what others would compare. I'm trying to stay under $100! How about the ZT 0350...knife-connection has them for about $105 shipped right now. I like AO knifes so please point me in the right direction

I have a ZT 0200, in good condition, that I might part with for that price. PM me if your interested.

Not familiar with the Blur but the Shallot Composite is a really nice knife. My only complaint is that there are no thumb studs.

That explains why I had to sharpen that cheap knife every day after work.

I'm surprised there has been no mention of SOG knives. The Trident has served me well for years.
