I would replace every spring in it. They are cheap. Check the extractor and make sure it is not chipped/ damaged. Replace if needed. Detail clean the pistol making sure the bore for the extractor plunger is clean.
How did it come to be that the springs rusted?
I have never fired a Glock that was sensitive to "limp wristing", at least not that I noticed.
