One last thing the Guide rod was real scratched from where the recoil spring has been rubbing, figured it was normal for a plastic guide rod.

A little wear on the guide rod is normal but when you say really scratched it sends a bit of a flag. It should not be really scratched up- you may have a high round count pistol which means you NEED to re-spring it. Glock recommends every 2000 rounds or 2 years to replace the springs, including mag springs.
You will probably save some money if you call Glock directly (have your S/N) and order the parts from them. You will also get the advantage of any factory upgrades that it may be in line for.
