    Default Please critique...

I got a chance to mess around with my camera today so I took pics of my Steyr M40-A1. Also got some shots of my ammo as well, please let me know what you all think. Photography is one of my many interests so it's something I like to perfect as I progress. I will probably post more later. I'll also be sure to post on the "Evil black guns" thread as well.

They all look really well shot. The first one looks like a "guns and ammo" cover.

For about a week we owned a camera that I thought was capable of a decent macro shot. I took this picture. Look familiar?

Mazin, thank you for the compliment! Will definitely be posting as my firearm family grows over time.

Stuart, what caliber is that TAP FPD round in your pic? Mine is .40 S&W. Ever since they switched to a brighter casing, I've been a little hesitant about shooting the older rounds. (Some weird thought that they will go up in value just like the Black Talons are because the don't make them anymore.)

zteknik, I know there are certain formats that don't lose quality when uploading or editing on the computer. RAW is the best because it shoots the highest quality possible. However RAW also takes up an insane amount of space. PNG format compresses your images WITHOUT losing quality like JPEG does.

tiff format is uncompressed and is huge.
Nice pics. I have a sony 4 mp and it takes better close ups then some 8 mp + cameras that I have seen. Its about the size of a 35mm camera but I just can't seem to find a decent upgrade for it yet.
