Modern firearms are still mechanical marvels in the age of software and digital controls. As an engineer I love to inspect the fire controls, especially on a firearm with multiple mechanical safeties!

Seems that even the newer military arms are still mechanical, I guess nobody (including me) trusts digital firing controls yet. Imagine the enemy hacking your units network and overriding firing control! Yikes!
