the gun owner could have lied to you.
the gun owner could have lied to you.
He might have, but he sounded genuinuely surprised and he offered to call them right back and lower the price. He didnt even know I was buying it as he left before I made the decision on Saturday.
He was cool throughout the whole thing.
I believe Dravur on this; while I'm not at all involved with Dravur's situation, I just got home from Green Mountain Guns and apparently they have changed a bit.
I dealt with a fairly tall (~6'3") older guy (salt& pepper hair and goatee, thin in build) and he was an absolute JERK. I don't recall ever having been spoken to so rudely in any store, and I can say that while Green Mountain Guns has been my "go-to" gun store for quite some time, I'll make sure that I'll be giving my future business to any one of numerous other gun stores in the area.
It is really a shame, because they used to be a great place to do business.
Times change I guess.
I normally drop in here once a week because it's the shop in my neighborhood, and the staff is awful. I put up with them because they are close, and have decent prices on select items. There is a guy named mike who I always deal with because he's the only nice one there. His knowledge isn't that great but he always tries. If you need advice go elsewhere. If you know what you want and don't need help, it's worth a look.
