    Rule of engagement will change I bet. You can take out sniper(s) few hundred yard away with an accurate air burst w/ this thing.

    Yes, 2300 feet... around 760 yard.

    Keep in mind, in Vietnam, most small firearm engagement is within 50 yard. In the open terrain of Afghanistan, the kill zone is often in the 300m-500m. Hardly ever, you kill your enemy beyond 300m.

    I think you are grossly underestimating the advantage the xm25 brings to the table. The few grunts I know are real excited over this. Where as currently, they have to call out air support or risk movement to engage enemy beyond 300-500 meters, xm25 gunner within the sqd can engage that enemy instantly.
