If any of you like to read about current war adventures around the world, I recommend reading the New York Times. They have a good one about American soldiers in Afganistan: Tues., Nov. 30, 2010. They also have a report about one of there reporters just wounded over there: Joao Silva, a photographer, at Checkpoint 16, AFGANISTAN. He is recovering at Walter Reed after stepping on a Russian plastic antipersonnel land mine. It was hooked up to a 35-pound plastic drum of fertilizer, but the detonation cord had been cut and the bigger bomb did not go off. Joao lost his legs in the explosion and suffered internal injuries.

No, I do not work for the New York Times. I just read the NYT, because it is the greatest newspaper in the world. If the NYT did not exist the only news you would be able to read would be local news; the rest of the news would mainly come from the U.S. government. My main beef about the NYT, as well as many other people do, is that the NYT has a anti-gun stance. But I refuse to be brainwashed to the likes of: The Washington Times, Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Sean Hennity, Mike Savage and Mark Levin; thank-you.

Instead of having me, or Rush Limbaugh quote the New York Times{which he does so very frequently}, why don't you read it yourself for once, and make up your own opinion, even though your probably reading NYT news reports right now. Possibly, unaware of where your news is really coming from?
