I stopped in on my way up to Fort Collins one night and got there 15 minutes before closing. The younger guy helped me. He was friendly enough, and answered my (dumb) questions. They didn't have what I was looking for at the time, but it wasn't a bad experience or anything.

went there for the first time this lasrt week. it went well. at first I was throw off as the employees seemed pissed as hell and shouting this and that and I am pretty certain at a minimum...yes minimum, every other word out of ones guys mouth was fuck or fucking or fucken or fucked...at a minimum!
but in the end he knew his shit, knew what was going on, seemed a bit more paranoid than myself which made me feel really good!

This is inevitable when you get at least two people from New York together in the same room.

"Customers" need to set their expectations properly.

There are always some people who whine about Jensens because the staff didn't kiss their ass, there wasn't soothing jazz playing in the background, nor milk and cookies to calm their fragile nerves. Maybe the staff didn't want to be tied up for two hours while you tell them your life story and waffle over a purchase. Maybe you walked in with a bunch of "internet knowledge" and BS information/theories, asked their opinion expecting them to agree - which due to their experience, they didn't, and you got your feelings hurt.

    Get real.

There is no need for rudeness on the part of retail staff, but on the other side, a customer can't be a tool either. While everyone is buying everything they can and the store is packed open to close, do everyone a favor and be an "efficient" customer. If you have a fragile personality or self-worth and need to be coddled, it's probably not the place for you. However, if you want availability of firearms - utility to super high end - when everyone else seems to be out of stock, Jensens is the place to go.

I was up at Jensen's a couple of Saturdays ago. They didn't have what I was looking for but they answered my questions knowledgeably and I think I was treated pretty dang well. I also don't get offended when cussin happens. I'll certainly keep giving them business.

Fuck, I love milk and cookies. I would be all over a gun shop that has some big ol' chocolate chips and glasses of milk set out for customers.

They have a nice selection of parts if you are looking to dodge some shipping chages, plus you can get a cinnamon roll out on the highway. Enough reason for the trip itself.
