Personally, they are the only place I will purchase a firearm from in Colorado. Every time I go into that shop, they have been friendly and helpful. Even when I went there in a wheelchair, they made sure I had access to the counter through the mass of customers. And though I can find marginally better prices online, they have a great selection at reasonable prices. As far as I am concerned, they will remain the only place I go to get my arms as long as they continue the service I have traditionally received. In fact I will be heading up there tomorrow to pick up my newest firearm!

Jensen's has always treated me well. They sometimes get unique items that I can't pass up.

Maybe the staff didn't want to be tied up for two hours while you tell them your life story and waffle over a purchase. Maybe you walked in with a bunch of "internet knowledge" and BS information/theories, asked their opinion expecting them to agree - which due to their experience, they didn't, and you got your feelings hurt.

    Get real.

There is no need for rudeness on the part of retail staff, but on the other side, a customer can't be a tool either. While everyone is buying everything they can and the store is packed open to close, do everyone a favor and be an "efficient" customer. If you have a fragile personality or self-worth and need to be coddled, it's probably not the place for you. However, if you want availability of firearms - utility to super high end - when everyone else seems to be out of stock, Jensens is the place to go.

this is right on. besides, i work in retail and many people are annoyed if you ask too many times to help them, or if you ask at all! if people know what they want they don't want to be bothered, so i think often times in a smaller store like that they try to just leave people alone if possible

I have been in there several times. A couple of times the person(s) seemed a little short but I just shrugged it off as they were busy. I have always like them as they seem to have a good verity of stuff for ARs.
I was in there yesterday morning and they were not that busy. I got treated well. Seemed to be a good selection of 5.56x45 and complete AR BCG for what is becoming the old price of $129.

I've never gotten a real warm welcome from the staff, but their prices and selection are really good, and they tend to have a good selection of ammo on hand. I've bought a couple of guns and lots of ammo from them, and will continue to do business with them.

Was up in the area, so I swung by. Not my first time in there. Had to wait a bit for some service, they were swamped, but it wasn't long before I was out the door with a new scope and mount. Only complaint was that I spend too much when I go in there, not their prices, just can't walk out without seeing something I have to have .

Their prices are good. I have found them to be some of the best I have seen compared to the gun stores here in Colorado Springs. I'd recommend swinging by if you are in the area.

I was in there last week, walked around for ten minutes, no one said a word to me, and it was 5pm. One other customer in the store. I was rather disappointed seeing how everyone here raves about them. Perhaps just an off night?

Based on your headshot in your avatar I have a feeling avoiding you was the most politeness they could muster. Lucky you escaped with your life.

I have heard this from a lot of people, including some of the LEO's that have dealt with them.

I personally never had a problem with anybody in the store that I have dealt with so far. One time I was in there they seemed to be pretty busy, so they were short and direct. Which I don't mind even if they weren't busy.

I have found that some of the employees there will wait for you to ask for something. Which is a nice change from some stores where the employees hound you like you are stealing with the constant questions. However, everyone likes something different.

    Thumbs up

I took a trip up to Jensen Arms on Saturday to pick up a glock 34, I have been looking for one and they happened to have one and held it for me. This was my first visit and I was a little unsure how it would go because of the different experiences many have described. I was pleasently suprised, CBI was running really slow and my wife and I ended up talking to Bob Jensen for over an hour. The staff was friendly and helpful, and their prices were very good on almost everything. I know others have had different experiences but I wanted to post how things went for me. Although I have only had one experience with them I would recomend them.
