    + 100000 Pablo.

Jensens is good to go. Great people with great pricing. They can be brisk at times, but when you have so many people trying to buy a gun you have to be. I have been to a few busy gun stores back east where you took a number, like at the dmv and had to wait your turn to be helped. Then once you got your number you had a certain alotment of time to do your business. Jensens is no where near that bad/brisk.
Also Jensens will have more shit in stock than any other store around, especially with our current situation. I dont think many will be as eager to complain about them when they have stuff in stock that everywhere on the net is sold out of.

I heard on AR15.com someone said that Jensens was refusing to give pricing over the phone yesterday because of what might happen last night

Honestly, i'm all for customer service, but I do need to say that when you are the big dog in down, and everybody and their cousins want what you have, you just might get a little busy! And when you are busy, you may get a little impatient with a customer or 14 when everybody through the door wants to take up precious time try and be your buddy and talk guns... These things happen, we all have our bad days.

I have had decent experiences at Jensens, nothing steller, but I have usually been there and found what I was looking for in a timely fashion. The clerks working have not always been the most friendly, and some really dont have any clue about the products they are selling other than the price and that they go boom. But Im not going in there to make a new drinking buddy or anything, and ill do my own independant research on a weapon LONG before I ask the clerk every little detail, so why should I be bothered by what may come across to me as an a-hole clerk? If you dont like them because the guy at the counter didnt wanna here about your buddies AR or AK, go pay more for the same thing at Gander or Sportsmans...

I sympathize with everybody up there, that place is busy bell to bell and they do a great job of taking care of every customer in the door. They do get testy from time to time but they are human, I am up there ALOT and I have yet to see them be really rude to someone that didn't deserve it. In fact even the people that did deserve it got off pretty easy in my opinion. Just give them a break, dont expect them to talk your ear off and be your buddy for life and you will get a great gun at a great price.

    my two cents

Well, I guess you have to set your expectations. In the current environment I really don't care if they like me and vice versa. I didn't go in there to make a friend. I spoke with them on the phone to see if they had what I was looking for and knew from the tone exactly what I was going to experience. The market is apes*** right now.

The bottom line is they are the only tactical shop game in town, they had something I wanted and they aren't price gouging. I got decent customer service and will go back when I'm looking for an A3 carbine in the summer (if I still can!)

To put it in perspective, how many shops have you been in where they were not busy and they got pissy with you. That's the gun shop trade...and if this is your hobby you have to build a little tougher hide.

"Customers" need to set their expectations properly.

There are always some people who whine about Jensens because the staff didn't kiss their ass, there wasn't soothing jazz playing in the background, nor milk and cookies to calm their fragile nerves. Maybe the staff didn't want to be tied up for two hours while you tell them your life story and waffle over a purchase. Maybe you walked in with a bunch of "internet knowledge" and BS information/theories, asked their opinion expecting them to agree - which due to their experience, they didn't, and you got your feelings hurt.

    Get real.

There is no need for rudeness on the part of retail staff, but on the other side, a customer can't be a tool either. While everyone is buying everything they can and the store is packed open to close, do everyone a favor and be an "efficient" customer. If you have a fragile personality or self-worth and need to be coddled, it's probably not the place for you. However, if you want availability of firearms - utility to super high end - when everyone else seems to be out of stock, Jensens is the place to go.

Fuck, I love milk and cookies. I would be all over a gun shop that has some big ol' chocolate chips and glasses of milk set out for customers.

this is right on. besides, i work in retail and many people are annoyed if you ask too many times to help them, or if you ask at all! if people know what they want they don't want to be bothered, so i think often times in a smaller store like that they try to just leave people alone if possible
