Default Where are all the shotguns?

I disappear for a while and nobody posts on shotguns?

    fine

    My wife just bought this:

It's a Browning Superposed (JMB designed!!!!!) superlight 12 ga.

it weighs about 6.5lbs! English stock, 26 inch barrels
the barrels have been drilled and briley thin wall chokes installed and the shiny finish has been removed and a nice oil finish put on.

    it's literally brand new.
there WERE no wear marks of any kind (and you always get some on the forearm on superposed). Probably either never shot or just a few boxes and put away.

    What have you gotten lately?

    yeah
I wouldn't want to shoot full house 1.25oz loads in it
But we shot 75 rounds of 1oz loads and it shot great.

it's not designed to be a heavy load gun, it's a game gun.

thinner and lighter than a 23
    Made in Belgium, not Japan.
    the superlight was remarkably light.
On all superposed's, the forearm doesn't come off, it's attached to the barrels, which makes it much thinner than a "normal" O/U forearm.

and where's the pic of your 23?

Nothing lately...but...I'll "juice your thread" (at the risk of being redundant as I've put these pics up before in the Gallery). I like to "whore these pics" every chance I get, she's the pinnacle of my arsenal currently!

But...but...I am "shottie jonesin'" at the moment and early in the coming new year I'm picking one these up. Screw the all black, synthetic, pistol-gripped, railed, over-forended lit-up, ghost-sighted, weird stock, side-saddled tacti-cool Hollywood poop. I'm gonna buy it, put a couple of cigar burns and knife carvings on the stock, pour some Jack Daniels on it, drag it down the gravel drive then take it to range for break-in / test and then finally...she'll go into production-use (i.e. will be my new home defense shottie). OK...I'm kidding but...give me the old school "Standard" 870P (Order No. 24899), I just have to have one.

That is a Winchester Model 21! I barely had to look at the picture, and if I was around it in person, I could have identified it without looking at it by the shivers in my spine.

That sir is a stunning thunder stick.
