For this shoot, what is the range of target sizes? What is the distance range?

(in case I'm not asking correctly, the type of answer I'm looking for is something like "the smallest target is a 2"x4" and the largest is am ipsc steel, anywhere from 300-800 yds")

this is a question brought on by the course of fire changing. Admittedly, I've never been there to see the other one.

There is one plate about the size of an IPSC target with no head and the rest are either round or square hung by the points . There are 2 sizes of the normal targets , The exact dimensions escape me right now and I'd have to check with the MD, the small ones are 5 and 6 inch squares and rounds respectively and they go out to around 360ish and 12 and 14 inches on the big ones and they are out to 710 for now . I'll get with Mike and confirm the sizes tonight .

The big target is at ~900 yards. I'll bet it's 18"W X 24" Tall. The smallest look like 5" diamonds, and they are typically at ranges in the 200's. Since you've shot the PD match, I'll compare to that. The targets are huge. That doesn't mean easy due to the wind, but in many cases they appear pretty large in the scope.

If fact, it amazes me every time I miss a target that looks like it should be easy. Stupid wind.

How'd it go down there today? Family commitments kept me way this month, but I'm looking forward to May. How'd all you local guys do? Anyone clean the stick stage?

45 shooters , the wind was weird and switchy again but not as bad as the 1st 2 matches . Moved some targets around on 8 and got a 730 yd shot now .

    Don't know about stage 7 , there were 2 5's on our squad .

Chuck, you failed to mention you shot a 56 and won. Nice shooting!
