elbert county taking 60 days to issue permit

The other night I was getting ready to take the fam out for dinner when a local sheriff car drives through the neighborhood shining a spot on several houses and then pulls into my driveway.

The deputy gets out, asks if I am who I am, looks at his hand, and then hands me my CCW permit. Talk about personal service. He said they were unable to reach me by phone for a 3 days

And the fact that I got it in almost a month sooner than expected was also nice.

gotta love how elbert counties permit looks like a library card laminated. Haha

damn thing is bigger than a standard credit card too. Needed to trim down the laminate a bit to fit in my wallet.
