good bad or indifferent the bottom line is who shares responsibility for the leaks.

the creator of the info out there should have taken better security measures with their memos. burn after reading would have been the way to go.

while i do not agree with wikileaks motives of hate America, is not free speech something we all cherish??

I agree with you on the first amendment, yet in this particular case we are talking about information that leaked to foreign countries that do not respect or share our freedom of speech.

I wonder if they are going to prosecute the leak as a traitor or a spy?

The Army PFC that leaked the materials to Wikileaks should be hanged for treason.

However I'm a little concerned about prosecuting Wikileaks for publishing them because we generally don't punish media outlets for publishing leaked secrets.

Just think what the precedent would mean ... any media outlet or figure the current (or a future) administration wanted to get rid of would simply have some juicy tidbit leaked to them and then after it was published they'd claim it was classified and BAM they take out a voice against them. THAT would be a serious threat to free speech.

I kind of like to know what the Gov is doing. Although if it is somehting that would put someone's life at risk then it should not be released.

I like to know what we think of other countries. I like to see what the real deal is as far as diplomatic issues goes. I don't like the though of us being kept in the dark.

Lies are what started the Iraq war.

    I could be wrong.. BUT.....

I thought the " new" stuff thats all from the state department was from someone OTHER then the solider.....

I don't see why the solider would have access to state department emails.

I wouldn't be sad if he was bruised and beaten and walking funny when he finally meets with police and turns himself in or gets caught.

I can only hope the mexican cartel is contracted out for his ass.

I just read the article on yahoo saying his lawyer has been talking with Assange and police working on a meeting to turn himself in now that the Sweds have sent out a warrant.

I would also like to see sweet justice and they let the other inmates have their way with a rapist. maybe they can have a camera in their and "leak" it on a sister site dubbed assleaks...because that is what will happen when that fucker finally is left alone.
All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.

    My Feedback
