ERNO - I've avoided bashing you here even though I've had to shake my head at much of the garbage I've seen you post, but it's very clear what your ideologies are and I think you're way off base and don't have the foggiest idea about how a government should lead and represent it's people.

I personally agree with across the board tax cuts, no matter which administration got them passed. So, the Dems don't want to let those who've EARNED higher incomes keep an equal percentage of their income. They'd rather make the high income earners shoulder a greater burden of the debt that our elected officials racked up with little to nothing to show for it. What they fail to realize is that the more you penalize those with the money and the ability to create jobs, produce product and revenue, the more they'll take their toys and go find another sandbox to play in.

But, hey, we could just continue to tax, tax, tax and spend money that we don't just not have but will NEVER have and destroy the livelihoods of everyone. [sarcasm] That should solve the problem; right? [/sarcasm]

You can't get water from a stone, but our [tongue in cheek] esteemed [/tongue in cheek] elected officials seem to think they can get tax revenue from those who have nothing more to give and think that all of the new money they're printing has any value left in it. They're wrong on both accounts.

The only way we're going to be able to recover is if they wise up and cut taxes - all taxes: income, personal property, social security, sales, BUSINESS, etc. and reduce or eliminate all of these various government "fees".

Uncle Sam reminds me of the retailer who'd rather sell 10 widgets for $10 (at a cost of $0.50/ea to the retailer) [Net profit: $95] rather than sell 100 of the same widgets for $4.00 [Net profit $350].

If we left the money in the pockets of the businesses and individuals, they'd have more money to spend and would actually see a greater tax revenue from the increase in spending activity.

Excuse me for ignoring all the tax discussion but back to wikileaks.

I think the only reason Asshat Assange is still breathing is his insrance policy. That file might be empty or it might have enough to cause all hell to break loose in a lot of places. Since he really has it in for the USA I'd assume it has real names of people who've helped us who live in places where that is unhealthy.

I wish he'd never been born but I'm not sure whether it is worse to shut him down or just leave him free but watched. here's an article about that:

I just read the article on yahoo saying his lawyer has been talking with Assange and police working on a meeting to turn himself in now that the Sweds have sent out a warrant.

I would also like to see sweet justice and they let the other inmates have their way with a rapist. maybe they can have a camera in their and "leak" it on a sister site dubbed assleaks...because that is what will happen when that fucker finally is left alone.

If you don't want your tax cuts, then just let me know man...I will come by monthly and pick up what you would be paying to the .gov. 2% of your money from social security and probably another 5% for income tax...so you figure out what 7% of your monthly paycheck is and just put my name on a check for that amount each month starting in January.

If you really think the .gov needs more money you are OUT OF YOUR FUCKING MIND!

There is no way in hell they need to get more money, especially from my pocket. last time I checked I worked hard, got an education and make sacrifices daily to earn the income I bring home to support myself and my family and enjoy a few good things in life.

If you want the .gov to have more money you should have to write a check to them, not have it pulled from your paycheck by your employer or have some IRS scumbag send you a letter and show up on your door nailing you for taxes. I think of that as the highest level of theft.
